Enviro-Green Technology is a new startup company selling all manor of environmental technologies, from solar, to wind, to thermal heat pumps. They came to me to design their logo and stationery.

The leaf marque is designed symbolise energy, the wind, the suns rays and of course the environment.

Kelly and Richard wanted a relaxed, reportage style, to their wedding photography. I was only too happy to oblige!

The whole day was captured with very few posed photographs allow the couple to really focus on enjoying their day rather than spending hours in line-ups. They are such a fun couple and I think the spirit of the day really shows in the pictures.

The wedding was at Dumbleton Hall in the Coteswolds, a lovely venue for a wedding, and a great backdrop for the wedding photography!

It’s that time of year again, yes it’s the East Bergholt Pram race 2011!

This was our entry, a 4.5 metre great white shark made entirely from scratch by our team in my garage. If you’re not familiar with the race it involves a run around the village of East Bergholt with the lucky person in the pram consuming half a pint of beer at each of the five pubs. Normally that’s not too much of a challenge, but this year our poor friend James was drinking while lying upside-down on his back in the belly of the beast.

Things got worse for him when the prams structure finally gave out 100 metres from the finish line, nose-diving the front of the shark into the ground. Luckily he survived and we able to limp over the finish line.

Sadly we didn’t retain our fancy dress crown this year, the prize went to Charlie’s Angels, but fear not we will be back next year with something better, but probably not bigger.

Ps. If you’re wondering, yes, it is a fake leg!

The Old Rectory in Suffolk asked me to photograph their stunning B&B for their new website. Set in the Suffolk countryside, this boutique hideaway has a lot going for it; beautiful grounds, luxurious rooms and wonderful furniture collected by it’s owners from places as far flung as China.

It’s already got a reputation as being up there with some of the best 5 star hotels in the region so I wanted the photography to really show it off.

I’ve got so many favourite images from this shoot that I struggled to edit it down for this post! We shot the whole thing in just six hours of non-stop photography, resulting in over 200 images for the client. Intense! What a great wedding! Good to meet everyone, hope you all had a good time.

As a investment fund that works in the millions, Ipswich based Salus Healthcare Fund needed a website that looked every bit as professional and responsible as they were. Having already created their logo and business cards I was now tasked with designing their online presence as well.

Clean lines and consistent use of their corporate blue, along with clean typography gives the site a mature, dependable look that befits a client of this nature. The site features an admin section that the client can log into to update press releases as and when they like. If you look at the ‘people’ page you might even notice the portraits I took for them a little while ago.

You might remember Kev and Lisa from their wedding which I photographed last year. Well guess what? They’re going to have a baby! With around about a month left to go we hooked up to take some photographs so they would have a memento of this exciting time.

This is the logo I designed for Bowmans Bar and Lounge in Ipswich, Suffolk. The bar opened in 2010 and is aimed at the stylish twenty-something market.

A large part of their business are the delicious cocktails they serve so I chose to bring this out with a clear, strong logo. As well as the glass the marque also forms a ‘b’ in the top half.

You can see how the branding rolled out in a separate post here. The bar is going from strength to strength having just won the People Choice Award in the recent Best Bar None awards. Congratulations guys!

The Ideas Compendium is an idea I’ve had for a while, but only recently been able to put into action. Put simply it is a gallery of surplus thought. It’s a place for all those ideas you have but will probably never get around to using.

By collecting all these ideas in one place and displaying them the hope is it help inspire new, creative thinking, and maybe even spark new ideas that can be used in the future. It’s a kind of community art project for free thinking.
